Just give them a little time.ītw GPW was Edward Grabowski's 3rd game. Patching/balancing manager games is much more time consuming than patch an ego shooter.Īlso the newer pole position games hasn't been solid after their 3rd game. They also need to test this out good enough to release the patches. Have to give them a little time to patch those bugs. No one likes bugs but manager games are really complex to make. We have to give them credit for a great foudnation. The first FM I think also had potential but was not even close to nowadays. sooo you saying that because oen thing has a license and another not it is uncomparable? Yeah sorry i am not a sad person who can't let go of the past and move on i support developers that acutaly trying to make games for the future and then people accuse downloaders for the death of game factory's but it is just you sad peeps that are scared of the future i don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ care if i can play 2016 season on a 25 year old gmae it is a 25 year old game move on and give it a chance lemme guess you are Smartphone addicted? Exactly not hard moving to the future aye? There are many improvements that could be made in this game in terms of complexity etc, but I genuinely believe it to be a fantastic game and a great start to a franchinse. Mods and mod help can be found here, I loved that game and have tested GPRM which is fairly infamous these days. Автор сообщения: jcoops96Grand Prix World does work on Windows 10, and modders have made huge strides on it, you can play with 25-18-15 points system, or as I have done, start in 98 and change in 2003 to 10-8-6 So the fact this game has many differences to F1 is not disappointing me at all, instead I like it for what it is. The difference to FM is the sport here is open wheel racing instead of football/soccer. GPW and GPM2 were trying to replicate real Formula One in as much detail as possible, while MM primarily simulates sports leagues with promotion/relegation in a soccer-like system. I think MM is much more comparable to the FM games than to something like GPW. All I can talk about here is long sessions, I read in many threads here short and medium length sessions tend to produce more randomness, which seems pretty expectable to me.

The bug where driver positions switch in the middle of the race for no reason on some tracks, is the only really annoying one. Hopefully some of the bugs will be fixed with patches, but even as-is I can live with it. I think the race engine in MM is pretty okay, not perfect, but okay. I think GPW can't be compared to Motorsport Manager as it would be the comparison of an F1 manager to a fantasy racing manager.

Never had trouble there to dominate with any team after 2-3 seasons at most.

I liked GPW, but it always seemed a bit too easy.
